Hey, I updated the audio section of my site. There you can check out samples of my new album Unifactor. It's pretty dope. The first song is a complete download.

You can also download my Ween Mega-mix, Stallion 3000. I used something like 70 ween tunes to make an "orginal" piece of music. It's funny.

Unifactor should be out around April or so, so you should prolly think now about considering to buy it, or at least start showing some signs of anticipation.

First off, I want to wish all of you a happy holidaze, and a spectacular new year! I for one, think 2006 is gonna be filled with love and magic, rainbows and unicorns, and robots that attack with the aid of smaller robots....I'm just kidding....about everything except the robots.

Ok, so what's goin on? I just finished my second album, entitled "Unifactor." Let's just say that if this album got in a fight with my last album, it would kick its ass. The album spans ~67 minutes and the cover art is designed by yer pal.....Gel-Sol. Expect more of the typical gel-sol bullshit/shennanigans, plus some new sounds that'll really get things going at yer next tupperware party/midget orgy....Here's the tracklisting:

01. open her
02. brontosaur yu
03. propulsion
04. on a clear night you can see the answer
05. slowjob
06. cool sweet awesome yay!
07. 3C273
08. mother never known
09. ohne schlage
10. saying goodbye is never easy
11. unifactor

The album is going thru a testing period this week, where I will be testing it on numerous types of stereo systems before it goes to mastering. If you wanna hear some samples of Unifactor, please visit my MySpace page at www.myspace.com/gelsol

Lemme know what you think!

If you would like to review this album, please send me an email, and I will hook you up with a copy...If all goes well, Unifactor should be out in early 2006.

Also, 302 Acid is back at work on a new studio album. We are busy compiling and trading audio in what promises to be another dark experimental adventure into the unknown....ok, that sounded cheesy, but you know what I'm sayin'?

So yeah, lotta stuff to look forward to in 2006. I am personally looking forward to going overseas again, and seeing more of the world....

Until next time....

Namaste,
Recently I had a short conversation with my new landlady/roomate. It was Sunday afternoon, and she had just finished watching an evangelical preacher on TV.

Not the usual Bible thumper....he only mentioned "Christ" once. The greater (and good) part of his message was "Blooming where you are planted." In this is the spiritual advice of accepting differences. I was also thrilled to see him preach a message of Joy, and how to apply this in daily activities.

Shortly after the tide was to change. The News came on....and though I did not pick up on the subtle cues (my landlady 'likes' Pat Robertson & the 700 club) I spoke with her a little about my misgivings of the US involvement in Iraq. She took the Rep. Party stance that the Pres. was a hero, a GOOD man, and that Sadam was wrong and torturing his people and they needed to be saved.

I explained to her that the Iraqi's have a different culture, and that I did not think it was reasonable to judge them based on our expectations. As far as Mr. Bush was concerned, I explained, "I cant say he is a good man, I have never met him." I used this gentle declaration to allow myself and her our differences. I did inform her that the US was using Uranium tipped armor piercing shells in the M-1 Tanks...and that Birth defects had risen astronomically in their country since the old Gulf War. That such ammunition was outlawed by the U.N. and the U.S. was the only country to be using it. She denied this as being a fantasy...because she had not seen it on TV. That if "it was true," it surely would be on TV.

I briefly explained that Military personel knew it...as did a friend of mine whose father was a 4 Star General with Colin Powell in NATO. (Thats were I first heard it, and have checked it with other military people). I then excused myself, and went to my Drum class.

Today I meditated on the synchronicity of living with a dyed-blue Republican Conservative Christian. First....I will learn tolerance in this situation, and patience. I will also become more experienced in how we as people delude ourselves into believing "I am RIGHT." How we accept "facts" which agree with our perspectives, and reject those that do not support our beliefs.

Second - I realized that when it comes to beliefs....she may be just as misinformed as any Liberal Green Party Pagan! The one point that they would both have in common is their faith in a belief which can only come to a close approximation of reality, and never hope to encompass full reality. In short...the one thing my two opposites have in common is a) a stubborn belief, which supports the individual world view. In either case (conservative/Liberal) they both think they are Right...and others are Wrong.

I rest easilly in her home, knowing that she means well, and as misguided as I might perceive her, she is thinking what she believes to be right and good. (which I did tell her that "everyone" allways thinks that what they think and do is right, even a mass murderer thinks they are right).

I will finish this short exploration with a final thought. She told me that the War in Iraq was justified. That my thinking we were wrong for invading was "bad thinking." That there "will allways be war, because there has allways been war."

I told her ......"Yes, it was that way once upon a time, but it does not have to be like that anymore!" I look forward to the possible future evolution of our species......In-Joy

So, I've been thinking about this quite a bit. People come up to me after shows and have this huge energetic charge toward me because I am a musician, and because they have felt something when dancing to my music. I personally think that EVERYONE has an inherent artform, whether it's music, dancing, painting, loving, listening, understanding, dreaming, speaking, or just being.

I want to know what YOUR artform is? What is the way that YOU bring forward light into the world? What is YOUR connection to the Source? I believe that every person has a special way that only they can affect the world around them. For me it happens to be music. I want to de-mystify this idea that dj's/producers are more special than everyone else, and find what other ways people can bring transformation through themselves...
